Maintenance and Management
As your business changes and grows your website will want to change and grow with it. Rake Mark can help you to keep your website

Affordable Website Updates
Updates are charged on an hourly basis at £29 plus VAT per hour. As an indication, to
make some text changes across a few pages would take about an hour, so would cost £29
plus vat. Additional pages cost from as little as £60 and this would include the design
work, images and image manipulation and implementation into the rest of your site.
Regardless of your requirements, all updates will be discussed and quoted and agreed
before any work is carried out.
Update Your Own Site
Blogs, news articles and forums are a great way for you to manage and update sections of
your own site. Rake Mark has a number of really easy to use products that will help to
keep your website new and fresh.
Copywriting
Your copy is the text or words that go on the page. Most of our customers prefer to write
their own copy and for this reason we never include the cost of copywriting in quotes or
website design packages unless it specifically requested.
Copywriting Services:
£40 per hour plus VAT
£225 per day plus VAT
As a guide, the copy for a 5 page standard web plan website will cost between £250 and £300.
Domain Name Renewal, Hosting and Support
All websites have to be stored on a web server so that your pages are visible on the web.
The web server that stores and serves your web pages is said to be
hosting your website.
The first years hosting is included in any quote that Rake Mark provides including all
website design packages.
Standard Hosting: £55.00 plus vat
Database Hosting: £87.50 plus vat

Domain Name Registration
Your domain name is the name that your users type into their web browser address
bar to find you. For example, our domain name is RakeMark.com. Your domain
name needs to be renewed or re-registered every year and there is a fee for this.
To keep things easy Rake Mark simply charges £15 per year plus VAT for each
domain name you require.
